Dr Simon Halpin
MBChB Liverpool 1989 MRCGP 2004
I initially trained in surgery in Liverpool before ending up working in Urology for 10 years. I switched to General Practice in 2004 [before Doc Martin on the Telly] because i wanted to develop relationships with my patients.
I became a partner at Weaverham in 2006. I live locally and have 4 children ages 8 – 18. My wife is a school teacher.
I am a member of the Royal College of General Practice and the Primary Care Urology Association and I represent Weaverham at the NHS Vale Royal CCG.
I specialises in minor surgery, mens health, urology problems [waterworks] and dermatology [skin problems].
Aside from work, I love watching Rugby, especially when my sons play, classic cars, motorsport, mountain biking and surfing [summer months only].
I also has a soft spot for Irish Dancing!
